Starstruck is a stand-alone comedy song originally written for On Hope: A Digital Song Cycle. You can find the original performance here. It is sung by a superstitious singleton who believes that their daily horoscopes (however bad) predict that they will find their true love. They desperately cling onto any shred of positivity in their readings, finding hope in the planets falling and rising to only reject a possible match because they’re not a compatible star sign.
